Communication for Deaf BSL Customers and TFW Staff could never be easier!
Transport for Wales Rail Services are partnering with InterpreterNow to aid communication between our Deaf BSL customers and our front line colleagues.
InterpreterNow is a mobile app service that delivers immediate access to online interpreting for deaf BSL users 24/7, enabling deaf and hearing people to communicate with each other.
Customers can download the free app and sign to an interpreter via the app through a video call, who will then relay the customer query to the member of TFW staff. The interpreter will then be able to sign the answer back to the customer.

The app can be used anywhere across our network, from booking tickets, asking for information at a station, and even for communication with conductors on trains too!
Nearly all TfW trains and most of our stations now offer free WiFi, however please bear in mind that the app does require a good WiFi signal or mobile data connection. Customers can download the Interpreter Now app for free on Android or iOS:
