There are some amazing days out to be had in July here's a selection of events that you can get to on our trains. Don't forget to check out our ways to save section that can help you travel for less, like booking Advance tickets or traveling in a group.
A week of the music and culture. With over 4,000 performers this event has regularly attracted around 50,000 people to the picturesque small town of Llangollen every year since 1947.
This years' line up includes Jools Holland, The Fratellis, The Coral and Gypsy Kings.
Love Trails Festival

The Love Trails festival bills itself as the world's first running and music festival. Throw in talks, workshops, yoga and hotubs and this is one the most action-packed festivals of the year.
Expect amazing scenery from the beaches and the surrounding area of the Gower.

Gemau Cymru is a bilingual signature event for young people in the Welsh sporting calendar enhancing the performance pathway of Olympic, Commonwealth and Paralympic sports.
It will provide an opportunity for talented young athletes to compete in a high profile multi-sport event while experiencing an athlete village environment.
Tenby Long Course Weekend
Pembrokeshire plays host annually to one of the most difficult triathlons in Wales. This unique event kicks off the weekend on Friday evening with The Wales Swim, a 2.4 mile swim that takes place on Tenby's North Beach.
On Saturday their attention turns to The Wales Sportive, and 112 miles of undulating Welsh countryside lined with enthusiastic crowds. To finish the weekend, the athletes complete the 26.2 miles of The Wales Marathon.
You can get spectacular views of this aerial acrobatic show all along the five-mile stretch of Swansea bay.
There's also a funfair, children's activities and interactive military village to enjoy.
Royal Welsh Show
Builth Wells comes to life every summer with the biggest agricultural show in Great Britain.
As well as its principal function of showcasing the cream of Welsh livestock and the high quality food and drink produced in Wales, there will be a range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, Sports Village and a 12 hour programme of exciting entertainment that continues throughout each of the four days of the event.

The Big Cheese Festival
Rediscover The Big Cheese! This year’s new look festival will have a new layout and new feel with Street Food Vendors, Live Lounge Bar Area, THREE Huge Food Halls and Live Cookery Demonstrations.
Exciting new street food vendors will be dotted around the site with show cooking and some unusual and exotic tastes. From noodles to crepes, there’s a feast to be had! There’ll also be some alternative street food vendors.
