We’re asking everyone to take part in a survey that can help with future transport planning.

As we continue with our ambitious plans to transform public transport across Wales and beyond, we want to engage with everyone we serve to better understand their experiences and views and how best these can be acted upon.

This new survey will allow us to gain vital insight about people’s perceptions, attitudes and behaviours in relation to public transport. We’ll use this to help shape and influence our future planning.

The challenges presented through Covid-19 have meant that we’ve all had to re-evaluate the way we work and travel, and so new insight and understanding is vitally important.

The TfW vision is to create customer-focused services through a safe transport network of which Wales is proud.

The survey only takes between 10-15 minutes, questions are straight forward and it is easy and fast to complete.

It can be used on a mobile phone, desktop pc or on paper if needed.

It is completely secure, confidential and GDPR compliant. You will not be contacted as a result of completing this survey, unless you ask us to do so.

I hope you can help us to provide better transport by completing the survey

Covid-19 Update | From our CEO Kevin Thomas
Dear customers, As we continue to navigate through life with Covid-19 amongst us, it is encouraging to see the progress being made and some ‘green shoots’ of normality becoming visible. Thank you to all of you who have understood the challenges Covid-19 presents when running a train service and have worked with us to follow the new and emerging ways in which we now travel. These new requirements are based on advice from government and world health organisations, and are designed to limit the risk of transmitting Covid-19 and reduce the infection rate. As we know and have seen in some areas around the UK, reducing the infection rate requires everyone to play their part. If we don’t and infection rates increase, we are likely to see further lockdown restrictions imposed by government.

    What is sustainable development?
Sustainable development is the balancing of economic, environmental and social issues to ensure that we can meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and we’re working hard to transform the rail network so that it becomes truly sustainable and fit for future generations. To help us achieve this we’re being guided by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act and its seven well-being goals which were written to make people think carefully about the long-term impact of their decisions, whilst working in a more collaborative way and taking a more joined-up approach. The Act’s ultimate goal is to create a Wales that we all want to live in, both now and in the future.
