Advance tickets are our best value fares and Railcard discounts can be used when booking. They’re one-way tickets so you can mix and match them. You can only use them on the train you booked.
You can’t get a refund but you can make changes as long as it’s before the departure of the train printed on the ticket or reservation coupon.
We can’t guarantee availability of Advance tickets and they are generally limited in number. So we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment. And just like their name, you can only book them in advance. They are generally available to buy up to 12 weeks ahead of the day you want to travel.
