Tenby has been a popular holiday destination for the English and the Welsh for decades, boasting attractive beaches in every direction. Tenby really is a beautiful location with lots of places to visit and activities for the young and old alike.

Surrounded by the well-preserved walls of the ancient port, exploring the town’s narrow streets, with every path leading towards the glorious white sanded beach. You’d never know that beneath the shops and cafes of contemporary Tenby, lie medieval tunnels, carved from the bedrock itself. Were these used by pirates to hide their treasure? Find out by visiting the exhibit filled museum on Castle Hill. Maybe those pirates still remain - in spirit! The popular Tenby Ghost Walk might just flush them out!

For adrenaline junkies, take the short trip to Heatherton World of Activities where you can experience the thrills and spills of go-karting, white knuckle climbing, and dinghy racing on the boating lake.

The popular Pembrokeshire Coastal Path leaves Tenby leading you towards Saundersfoot, with jaw-droppingly stunning views across the bay. From here you can see the cruises heading out to Caldey Island, and if you fancy making the short sea voyage yourself, head towards the Harbour.

Shopping in Tenby is a rich adventure, with small boutiques scattered between big high street names. Pick up some local studio pottery, mouth-blown glassware, and a bag, or three, of handmade fudge!
